What is an airport taxi booking?
An airport taxi booking is arranged around an airport pickup or drop-off. The provider usually needs details such as your flight schedule, pickup time, terminal or meeting point, destination and passenger count.
For arrivals, confirm how the driver will contact you and what happens if your flight is delayed. For departures, allow sufficient time for traffic and airport procedures.
What is a local cab booking?
A local cab booking is generally planned around travel within a city, such as going between a home, hotel, office or other destinations. The applicable booking structure depends on the provider and the service selected.
Share your pickup and drop points, expected duration and any intermediate stops. Confirm whether the fare is based on distance, time, a package or another arrangement.
Compare the details, not just the initial price
The best option depends on your actual itinerary. When comparing quotes, check the trip category, vehicle type, passenger capacity, waiting time, parking and other possible additional charges.
A quote for a local trip may not be directly comparable with an airport transfer or an outstation journey. Request a price for the same travel requirements before making a decision.
Which cab arrangement fits your trip?
Choose an airport transfer when your journey is connected to a flight arrival or departure and you need a coordinated pickup or drop. Choose a local booking when your requirement is travel within the city and the provider offers a suitable service.
If you need several city stops followed by an airport drop, explain the full itinerary before booking so the provider can recommend the appropriate trip category.
