Check your flight and travel details
Before booking an airport cab, confirm the travel date, flight schedule, expected pickup time and destination. Share flight details with the provider when relevant and keep your contact number available.
For departures, plan a pickup that leaves enough time for traffic and airport procedures. For arrivals, ask how the pickup will work if the flight is delayed.
Confirm the pickup instructions
Ask for the exact meeting point or pickup instructions. If the airport has designated pickup areas, confirm where the driver will meet you and how you will identify the vehicle.
Keep the provider's contact details and booking confirmation accessible in case you need to coordinate after landing.
Check passenger and luggage requirements
Confirm the number of passengers and the amount of luggage before choosing a vehicle. Explain any special space requirements so the provider can suggest a suitable category.
Ask the provider to confirm the vehicle category and availability rather than assuming a particular model is guaranteed.
Review the fare and possible extra charges
Ask for the fare to your exact destination. Confirm whether parking, waiting time, tolls or other charges apply and clarify the payment method and cancellation terms.
If your destination or pickup time changes, ask the provider whether the change affects the price or availability.
Make sure your booking is confirmed
An enquiry or quote is not the same as a confirmed booking. Wait for confirmation of the date, pickup time, vehicle category, fare and contact arrangements.
